The style of playing Badugi is different from other poker games that a player should be well versed with the rules of the game. The 3 hand card on the other hand topples the two hand card and the later beats the 1 hand card.
These interesting features draw the more matured players to try a hand at this game. If two hands are similar then the winner is the one who has build the lowest hand. In normal poker the suit does not interfere with the ranks. It is just taken to compare their numerical value. If the highest card of the players playing the game is the same then the very next highest card is used for the tie-breaker. In Badugi another interesting feature is that it is played like a lowball game.
The aces are played low. The player on the left of the dealer button is always in a better position in Badugi. He has the extra chip when during the tie the winning amount is equally divided among the players. Therefore the position is an important aspect of the game.
