This is a very classy and well-designed joystick, made of Plastic with some metal paneling, that is very slick and responsive. A warning, though, for those of you wishing to use it on Macs, the throttle does not work, only the buttons on it and the thumb slide control. Also, the mouse ha switch doesn’t work on mac, but everything else does. I highly recommend it.Saitek X52 Flight Control System

Saitek X52 Flight Control System, i ordered this system and i am sure it was sent to me, i have a very new address and the mailman said he did not know the shippinng address was being used and sent it back to sender, i have not heard any news about maybe gettting it reshipped to me, Thank you for your help.

Thanks to this Saitek X52 flight controller I have been able to kill THOUSANDS of virtual enemies with fun unparalleled by any other flight stick. Whether I’m flying an Apache strafing a small village causing untold collateral damage to homes and livestock, or if I’m flying a Harrier Jump Jet recklessly over a battlefield and kamikaziing enemy armor emplacements, this controller translates every bit of my lack of flying skills with incredible precision. It really lets my teammates know that when I’m in the air you’d better look out. I highly recommend it.

i recently bought th saitek X52 flight control system and
found it to be easy to configure to any game online and offline. and with the smart technoligy program disc the options are almost endless over 300 programable functions
are able to be used by the sticks. it has a very comfortable ergonomic design and adjustable button lighting. sensitivity settings are great and easy to use.
calibration settings are easy to use too. the 3D twist rudder is very smooth and has a locking button rudder is not needed or when you use the saitek rudder pedals that
are optional extras if you truly want a realistic experience as a pilot i stronglly recomend getting the
saitek rudder pedal system too its definitly worth the
investment as i am picking up a set of them after trying them and talking to a lot of other people who use them.
i have used a lot of flight control systems and sticks over the years and the Saitek X52 Flight Control System
wins hands down. any serious gamer needs this stick system then he will have total control when he plays,
it is a “must have” 5 STARS
DOA – No response from support

I received this stick as a gift a few months ago. Finally had time to give it a spin and it is DOA. The 3 of the axis constantly jitter and fail to recenter when viewed in the control panel. Tested under XP and Vista with the same result. I wrote to Saitek about this, but I have received no response after 2 weeks.
Not worth the priceI

I bought this controller to use with light Smmuulator X. It has alot of buttons and sliders some of sliders didn’t work correctly. Secondly, the size shown in the pictures are deceptive cause these puppies are huge. If you have a small desk and screen it will be extremely difficult if not impossible to use them because they need to sit on a flat surface. In conclussion it wan’t worth it to me.

A good HOTAS without paying more for a somewhat better one. I will admit it was awkward at first having flown with a twist stick and throttle all on one piece of hardware for so long, but now I wont ever go back. I get much more throttle control and input precision now then I ever did. The trim wheels are also a blessing which I grown to love. Overall, its built well and a very nice setup for a reasonable price.
CHEAP AND BREAK EASY

They broke in just one week. Real disappointment. The things are made so cheap. Buy a Thrustmaster setup this thing is just going to make you go through a hastle of returns, IF YOU ARE LUCKY. Mine have ended up coffee table ornaments. Dont buy expensive gadgets from Amazon. Go to a store and or order from a specialty. I had to spend a fortune for these and then waited three weeks for replacements. I also had to pay for shipping as well. Amazon sucks. Avoid the hastles and extra hidden expenses: shop elsewhere

this product is really good… the best thing about them for me is how easy to move the are and also how responesive the controls are to the game. i highly recomend this to anyone looking for a joystick and a throtel. They are also easy to download

What I can say, the package arrived after two,repeat, two days, worked immediately as aspected, no problem whatsoever till now despite the intensive use in dog fighting in windows XP and also, more important, in Windows 7 beta version.

When I purchased my Flight Simulator Deluxe Edition, I chose to purchase these controls, as well. I wanted as real a feel as I could get with my gaming system. Well, at the time, they were the best on the shelf that I could find. Nothing else came close to these. The first few reviewers have explained the controls already. They are right on the money! You will want to purchase these along with your game.
